GREAT BRITISH FOOD FESTIVAL Ragley Hall, Warwickshire

I'm off to Ragley Hall in Warwickshire this weekend for the Great British Food Festival. This nationwide festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday from 1.30am to 5.30 pm and has everything for the foodie and the food-loving family. Tickets are available at £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for kids with family tickets available at £20 for two adults and two children. Kids under 5 get free admission and you can pay at the door or book in advance at:-
https://sales.webticketmanager.com//default.aspx?companyid=967&eventid=3510.
Parking is included in the price.

Probably the best food festival in the West Midlands there is plenty for all ages, including demonstrations by well known chefs, exhibitions by food producers, a kids cookery school and live music. Man v Food  Challenges will take place during the two days and those up for a 'big eat' can sign-up on the day. You can also enter a cake in the 'Cake-Off' - so don't forget to bring your Victoria Sponge if you want to be in with a chance of a prize. Artisan talks and tastings run throughout the two days and children will be entertained in the Kids Corner with face painting and balloon modelling and much more.

Those foodies interesting in foraging can take one of the three walks arranged each day, to discover the food in the fields and hedgerows that is a free source of supply for cooking and baking. I can't wait!

Look out for me - I hope to see there!
