Good Food Bakes & Cakes Show


Cashing in on the popularity of The Great British Bake-Off, the BBC are again hosting the popular Good Food Bakes & Cakes Show from 25-27 October 2014 at the Business Design Centre in Islington. The show will be packed with baking, bread-making and cake-crafting demos, plus a wide range of free master classes for beginners to expert level bakers, all included in the ticket price of £20. Whether you're new to baking or a seasoned baking veteran, the BBC Good Food Bakes & Cakes Show is the perfect place to meet bakers, cake-crafters and confectioners, learn new skills, and pick up all the essentials you need to develop your home baking hobby and to get you baking like a pro. 


Don't miss out on seeing your favourite baking stars, LIVE at the show!  Every full day adult ticket includes a standard seat in the Bakes & Cakes Theatre, where you can watch Mary Berry, Mich Turner, John Whaite, Paul Hollywood (above), and other expert bakers in LIVE baking and technique demos. It’s your chance to see your favourite baking experts and personalities live and up close! Whether holding a live session giving demos, appearing on the Interview Stage, or doing a signing session in the Book Shop. The band of bakers will be on hand throughout the day, teaching top tips, showing off their skills, and answering questions. 


The Bakes & Cakes Theatre is the highlight of the show.  Every advance full day adult ticket includes a standard seat in the Bakes & Cakes auditorium, or you can select a Gold Seat to get a closer look. Learn direct from your favourite baking personalities as they make, bake and share their expert tips and techniques in an entertaining theatre show. On the Interview Stage you can watch live interviews with a range of baking greats, and take part in free Q&A sessions to get your burning baking questions answered.


 
You can head to the Books stand for all the latest publications, plus book signings with top authors taking place everyday. What about a bespoke Afternoon Tea with feature menus? Tables are available to pre-book. And finally, don’t forget The Cake Parade - from intricate sugar craft skills to unbelievable buttercream designs, you'll be wowed by the cakes in this inspiring showcase of beautiful creations from some of the country's best cake designers and artists. 
 


All around the edge of the gallery you'll find Master class bays.  Visitors can enjoy a wide range of classes from beginner Step-By-Step Guides to basic baking, to advanced skills and techniques for baking aficionados. The classes will be available on a first come first served basis and are free of charge. The programme will include classes, demos and events on the following:-
