Ludlow Spring Food Festival 9-10 May

It's one of the most famous spring food festivals in the world this weekend, Ludlow Spring Food Festival - one that it's impossible to miss! 

There will be 224 Beers! Ludlow Castle really is a special venue to hold the Spring Festival. When the sun is shining it’s great to see families visit over the weekend, picnic blankets in one hand and a pint, glass of wine or soft drink in the other, enjoying all the activities on offer! Even if the weather’s not so kind, the Festival Pub will keep you dry and entertained with live music throughout the weekend and more beers than we ever imagined possible. Back by popular demand will be the talks and demonstrations, with a full line-up on the Wot’s Cooking stage in the Inner Bailey on Saturday and Sunday. You can find an array of amazing chefs. Don’t forget the Pâté and Pudding Trails around town and the festival will be joined by all manner of fantastic vintage vehicles when the Marches Transport Festival arrives in Ludlow.

Food producers are handpicked to make sure visitors get the best of the bunch. Artisans from across Ludlow and the Marches will be selling exquisite produce – and they’ll be more than happy to talk about what they make, how they make it and why it tastes so good. Stock up on fabulous rare breed meats, cheeses, homemade cakes, honey, preserves and a whole lot more. Around Town There will be trails aplenty at this year’s Festival – make sure you check out what’s on around town, as well as what’s happening within the Castle Walls. There is plenty in store for everyone, with a Sunday Market in Castle Square and Brewery Tours at Ludlow Brewery. There are also plenty of great independent traders around Ludlow – you’ll be amazed by what you find.

Tickets are only £6.50 per day for adults and £2 for children under 13, with special two day family tickets at £21 and for adults £9.
